Daily Bloom begins November on a lively note reading Gretchen Rubin’s “The Happiness Project.” Rubin, (a former clerk for Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor) invents her own genre of self-help with a year long, month to month journey to living a fulfilling life. Rubin’s guides us with insightful ways of dealing with parenthood., work, and money, just to name a few. The mother of two daughters encourages us to balance life with funny outlooks on day to day challenges that we all face as women and mothers. I laughed through the entire book, and felt empowered to begin my own happiness project. Pick up a copy at Antropologie, (where I snagged mine) and begin your Happiness Project.
