*The Beauty of Facebook*

We all have our gripes with Facebook, and some of us understandably, do not use it at all. I do use it however, everything I post on here ends up on Facebook… floating around in the land of free marketing.

Yesterday for me, was a challenge.

I’m feeling every one of these eight months of pregnancy that I now have under my belt.  I’m worried about labor and nursing. Sleepless nights have become the only nights I know (yes, I know what lays in store for me). The work I put into this blog can occasionally get me down too, sometimes it’s hard to tell if there is anybody out there reading it. In a nutshell, that’s what was raining on my parade yesterday.

I reached out on my personal Facebook page and just asked my friends to tell me something good about their day or week and the result was beyond heartwarming. Friends from all over the country wrote such nice things about their lives, it actually made me cry (in a good way).

These little notes helped renew my faith in the beauty of technology and specifically Facebook.

So, let’s try this on here.

What is going on in your world? All postivity welcomed!

I read it! Ha ha…..I wish I had something good to share yesterday but it wasn’t in my cards. FB can def cheer up my days sometimes, sometimes it can be the only adult contact I’ve had . Its a way to reach out to friends who are miles away and in need of a smile. As busy mothers sometimes there is only enough time for a quick text or fb message, How did our mothers live with out this life line? My kids see mommy on the phone and it becomes a free for all or war zone.

Facebook has been great for keeping better track of long-distance relatives, like my half-brother and his family, and also for rekindling old friendships … like with you, Courtney! :)

Sending happy thoughts your way. I know the feeling of putting “words into the wind”, but rest assured, we’re still out here reading! ;)
