Family Movie Night. It sounds so fun. You pop the popcorn and snuggle up with the kids and enjoy the evening, right? Well that worked when the kids were all really little and Ratatouille was the movie everyone could enjoy. But what happens when the few years between your kids start to feel like decades when it comes to a suitable movie for all? Our family has recently experienced this issue and I have tried to tackle it head on to preserve our Saturday night tradition. We have found a few that are mainstream like Elf that are good, clean fun for us all, but there aren’t many ones like Elf out there. I have resorted to the movies of my past and guess what, they are pretty good choices! Maybe I’m just getting old, but ET and Superman aren’t that scary OR risque. I have even gone back to the 1960’s and we have enjoyed some of the old James Bond films. Who knew? Go on, stroll down memory lane and let us know what movies from the past you loved as a kid. I bet your kids will love them too and I know my family would love to hear…. We’re always looking for our next Family Movie Night movie!
